What Is Included in Our Basement Drywall Package
Your proposal is built around the condition of the basement and the finish you want. Depending on the selected scope, our team can coordinate the following wall and ceiling work from preparation through paint.
Drywall-Ready Preparation
We verify that the areas in our proposal are ready for board installation and complete the agreed minor corrections or selective drywall removal. Framing, moisture, electrical, and plumbing issues outside our scope must be resolved before drywall begins.
Insulation and Sound-Control Options
When included in the proposal, we install the specified insulation and can discuss sound-control assemblies for basement ceilings, bedrooms, offices, or media spaces.
Professional Basement Drywall Installation
We hang the specified drywall on walls and ceilings, form clean openings, install corner bead, and prepare the surface for finishing.
Level 4 and Level 5 Drywall Finishing
Taping, coating, sanding, and inspection are completed to the finish level selected for the room, lighting, and final paint appearance.
PVA Primer and Interior Painting
New or skim-coated drywall receives PVA primer, surface touch-ups as needed, and minimum of two finish coats of quality interior paint when painting is included.
Protection, Cleanup, and Walkthrough
We protect the work path and adjacent areas included in the plan, keep the site orderly during production, and complete a final walkthrough of our scope.
Our specialty is the basement wall and ceiling package: insulation when specified, drywall installation, drywall finishing, skim coating, PVA primer, and interior painting. We do not provide plumbing or electrical work, and we do not serve as the general contractor for complete basement remodels.
