A standard drywall sheet weighs about 95 lb, so we strategically place and stock materials inside your home to minimize handling, damage, and hassle. We start by covering floors and nearby surfaces with plastic for carpet or heavy-duty paper for hardwood/tile. This ensures maximum protection, makes scrap removal efficient, and helps lower floor prep costs — keeping your home safe and clean during the repair.

We install plastic barriers around the repair area to control dust and protect your home. This step keeps hallways, adjacent rooms, and furniture safe from debris, ensuring the repair is clean, contained, and professional from start to finish.

We remove extra drywall where needed and install backers for support. In this case, the wall light fixture must be removed to feather out the mud evenly. While others try to finish around it for speed and convenience, we go the extra mile to deliver a seamless, high-end finish.

We cut out the damaged sections, install new drywall pieces with backers for support, and carefully secure each patch. Our process restores the wall’s strength and structure before moving into finishing — setting the foundation for a seamless repair that blends into the surrounding surface.

We apply a full primer coat to seal the repaired area and expose any small imperfections. Our team then performs detailed touch-ups before applying another coat, ensuring complete coverage and a uniform surface that’s ready for flawless paint.

If texture is required, we don’t just patch the spot — we blend from corner to corner or beyond the repair so it disappears seamlessly into the existing wall or ceiling. Before applying the second coat, we create a sandwiched layerthat prevents the texture mud from bleeding through. This extra step reflects our attention to detail and true craftsmanship, ensuring the repaired area looks like it was never touched.

To fully blend the repair, the entire wall or ceiling must be painted corner to corner. Spot painting around the patch will always leave visible transitions. By repainting the full surface with premium products and applying the necessary coats, we ensure the repair is invisible, the color is uniform, and the finish looks as though the wall was never touched.

We collect and remove all drywall scrap, dust, and debris created during the repair. Every project is left clean, safe, and ready to enjoy — no leftover mess for you to deal with. This attention to detail is part of what makes our repairs truly professional and hassle-free.
