Framing Review Before Hanging
Visible framing irregularities can transfer through the drywall. We identify conditions that may require shimming, planing, backing, or a scope discussion before sheets are installed.
Proper Backing and Support
Drywall edges, transitions, openings, and details need reliable support. Where included, we add the backing necessary for secure installation and cleaner finishing.
Clean Corners and Transitions
Corners, ceiling lines, soffits, wrapped openings, and architectural details are planned for straightness and consistency - not treated as an afterthought.
Finish Built for the Lighting
Natural light, recessed lighting, wall-wash lighting, and darker paint can reveal surface variation. We account for the visible conditions when discussing finish level and preparation.
Primer and Paint as One Finish System
New drywall and joint compound absorb coatings differently. We apply PVA primer, inspect and touch up the finish, then apply two coats of interior paint for consistent color, sheen, and coverage.
Protection and Daily Cleanup
We plan floor protection, containment, material staging, and cleanup around the home and project conditions so the work is managed professionally from start to finish.

Pre-Drywall Preparation and System Coordination
We review visible framing, correct or document irregularities, add approved backing, and coordinate insulation or sound-control assemblies when they are part of the project before sheets are installed.
Material Delivery and Strategic Stocking
We coordinate material delivery and calculated placement throughout the project to reduce unnecessary handling, support workflow, and keep installation moving efficiently.
Phase 3
Professional Drywall Installation
Drywall is installed with a deliberate board layout, tight seams, precise fastening, and careful planning around ceilings, openings, transitions, and architectural details.
Phase 4
Protection and Multi-Coat Level 4 or Level 5 Finishing
Floors, windows, fixtures, and surrounding surfaces are protected. We then complete the taping, corner work, compound coats, and Level 4 or Level 5 finishing required for the approved rooms and lighting conditions.
Initial Scope Review and Estimated Range
We review the project, identify important questions, and confirm whether it aligns with our complete drywall-to-paint service and typical $5,500+ project minimum. When enough information is available, we can often provide an initial estimated range.

Phase 5
Detailed Sanding, Inspection and Precision Masking
Walls and ceilings are sanded and inspected for consistency. Non-painted surfaces are carefully masked so the primer and paint stages produce clean lines and protect the surrounding finishes.
Phase 6
PVA Primer, Finish Touch-Ups and Interior Paint
We apply PVA primer, inspect the coated surfaces, complete necessary finish touch-ups, and apply two coats of interior paint for consistent color, sheen, and coverage. The phase ends with cleanup and the final painted walkthrough.

Drywall compounds, primer, and paint require proper drying time. The schedule accounts for project size, site conditions, ventilation, finish level, coating requirements, and quality-control inspections.
This is how the onsite work progresses. Each phase is sequenced to protect the home, build flatter surfaces, support a consistent paint finish, and avoid the quality gaps that can occur when drywall and painting are split between separate contractors.
