PROJECTS WE INSTALL AND FINISH
The Right Drywall System for the Way You're Building
Whether the framing is new, the interior has been gutted, or an existing space needs a higher finish standard, every project follows one coordinated drywall-to-paint system. We tailor the details without removing the finishing stages that make the interior complete.
ONE TURNKEY DRYWALL-TO-PAINT SYSTEM
Framing Prep • Drywall Installation • Level 4 or Level 5 Finishing • PVA Primer • Interior Paint
WHOLE-HOME & NEW CONSTRUCTION
Consistent Finishes Across the Entire Interior
Large projects require consistent planning from room to room. We coordinate installation, finish level, details, PVA primer, and final paint so walls and ceilings read as one complete interior.
Open framing and gutted interiors
Standard, vaulted, and detailed ceilings
Level 4 or Level 5 finishing
PVA primer and two finish coats
BASEMENTS
Turn Open Framing Into a Finished Living Space
We install and finish basement walls and ceilings for living areas, offices, bedrooms, gyms, and entertainment spaces, with careful attention to mechanical transitions and lighting
Full wall and ceiling installation
Framing-condition review
Recommended Level 4 or Level 5 finish
PVA primer and two finish coats
ADUs & ADDITIONS
Complete Drywall for Compact, Detail-Heavy Spaces
ADUs and additions often contain many openings, transitions, ceiling conditions, and visible details within a smaller footprint. We plan those conditions carefully to produce a clean, unified finish.
Detached and attached ADUs
Home additions and bonus rooms
Window, door, and ceiling details
Level 4 or Level 5 surfaces completed through final paint
GARAGES
New Installation or a Level 2-to-Level 4 Upgrade
Finish an open-framed garage or upgrade a basic builder finish into a smoother, brighter, more complete interior. Our coordinated scope includes drywall, finishing, PVA primer, and durable interior paint.
One-car and two-car garages
Open-framing installation
Existing Level 2 finish upgrades
PVA primer and two finish coats
LEVEL 4 OR LEVEL 5?
Choose the Finish the Room Actually Needs
Not every room requires the same drywall finish. The best choice depends on the lighting, paint color, paint sheen, existing surfaces, architectural details, and the level of refinement expected in the completed interior.
THE RIGHT FINISH DEPENDS ON:
Lighting • Paint Color • Paint Sheen • Existing Surfaces • Architectural Details • Design • Expectations
04 Drywall Finish
Level 4 Drywall Finish
Best For:
Many basements, ADUs, garages, additions, remodeled rooms, and whole-home projects with typical lighting and standard low-sheen paint.
What it means:
Joints, fasteners, corners, and accessories receive the required finishing coats, followed by sanding and inspection before our PVA primer and interior paint system is applied.
Consider Level 4 when:
The room has typical lighting conditions
Flat or low-sheen paint is planned
The design does not demand an ultra-refined smooth-wall appearance
You want a strong professional finish without paying for unnecessary additional coating
05 Drywall Finish
Level 5 Drywall Finish
Best For:
Modern interiors, large open walls, strong natural light, critical side lighting, deeper paint colors, higher-sheen coatings, and projects where the smooth-wall appearance is a central design feature.
What it means:
After the standard joint-finishing process, a thin skim coat is applied across the drywall surface to improve uniformity and reduce visible differences between face paper and finished joints.
Consider Level 5 when:
Large windows create strong side lighting
Walls or ceilings will be visually prominent
Darker colors or higher-sheen paint may reveal surface variation
The project calls for a refined smooth-wall result
Our Recommendation
We Recommend the Finish - Not Automatically the More Expensive Option
We evaluate the actual room conditions before recommending Level 4, Level 5, skim coating, or finish matching. The goal is to provide the finish the project genuinely needs and explain why.
